Vapor-permeable foils are used in ventilated roofs and facades and allow the passage of water vapor from thermal insulation. This reduces the possibility of moisture condensation. The water vapor permeability of the foil is important, which is indicated by the SD factor and should be as low as possible. Films that have a SD in the range of 0.02m and 0.2m are usually considered to be vapor-permeable films. At the same time, vapor-permeable roof foils also act as a secondary covering or for facades as a wind (air) barrier. We offer vapor-permeable foils with different mechanical properties and vapor permeability, namely:
METRAPAN STRONG
The vapor-permeable film Metrapan Strong with a 160g thick membrane can withstand high loads and is suitable for roofs that condense heavily. High UV resistance and strong structure ensure long durability and service life regardless of weather conditions.
